The job duties include:
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
• Reading blueprints.
• Running and bending conduit, wiring and terminating devices, and performing quality control testing and troubleshooting.
• Responding to service calls, including emergency calls, nights/weekends/overtime, as required.
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and renovation construction settings, both residential and commercial.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving moderately heavy objects.
• Communicating effectively with customers, project managers, apprentices, vendors, and other tradespeople.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the necessary repairs.
• Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
• Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects.
The job requirements include:
• A Journeyman/Electrician license for the state of CA with at least 5 years of experience in the field.
• The ability to use and understand proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• The ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• Possessing reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and basic hand tools.
• The ability to lift moderately heavy objects as necessary.
• Proficiency in navigating smartphone-based technology.
• A professional appearance and personality.
• A positive attitude.
• The ability to work as a team player and independently.
• Follow established processes and procedures.
• Operate with safety as a primary concern for self, co-workers and the customer.
• Experience with camera installation and/or surveillance equipment is desired but not required.
• Low Voltage experience is desired but not required.

Compensation: $25.00 - $125.00 per hour
